With our navigation instruments back up and running, we decided to head back to Caneel Bay at St. John. We took our time enjoying the 1-2 hour sail with Ollie!

It was great to be back at the mooring national park in Caneel Bay! It is quieter on the water without the ferry traffic between St. Thomas and St. John and has more of a relaxed/vacation-like feel.

On 3.26.2022, we decided to explore someplace new, Limeout Taco bar in Coral Bay, St. John. Word in the cruising community is the Limeout is a must-see and that Coral Bay is an area where more fulltime liveaboards are. We plotted our course and it took us about 4-4.5 hours to sail there.

We anchored in Coral Bay and planned to stay there for the week, but were disappointed to have no internet service! Due to this, we decided to explore the area on Sunday, visit Limeout for lunch, then sail back to Caneel Bay.

Even though we were there for less than 24 hours, it was well worth it as Limeout did not disappoint!! It was a legitimate swim up bar, meaning the only way to access it was to actually swim up! We took the dinghy over and secured it to a mooring ball about 20 feet away from the floating bar, then swam our way to the outside swim up bar. Check out our experience in the slideshow below :)

After Limeout, we sailed back to Caneel Bay. Later in the week we decided to try another new place, Lovango Cay, which is a private island within the district of St. John. It hosts an upscale resort and they have private mooring balls you can rent for $45/night, so we decided to treat ourselves to a fancy dinner at the resort!

It took us about 30 minutes to motor over to Lovango and grab our mooring ball. The resort then had someone come pick us up from the boat and bring us to the restaurant. We had an amazing meal and got a ride back to our boat when we were done.

After our overnight stay in Lovango Cay, we headed back to Water Island. During the week we got work that the last of our solar panel upgrades were almost ready to be installed and that our hard top upgrade has shipped from Florida. We wanted to get back closer to Crown Bay in St. Thomas so that when the hardtop arrived, we could easily move into the marina.

We anchored in Druif Bay on Water Island which is the same bay where Dinghy's Beach Bar is. We decided to revisit Dinghy's and this time brought Ollie!
