This week we coordinated with Jessy's team to finish the solar panel installation and a trucking company to deliver the hardtop to align with our return to Crown Bay marina. This time our slip was C12-14 and we made our approach with no delay.

Tucked into our slip thanks to the help of 3 dockhands!

The next day (4.6.2022) Mark showed up to install our new solar panels! Instead of having two * watt panels on our array above the dinghy davits, we upgraded to four 375-watt panels (1500 total watt).

In preparation for the hardtop delivery, we also took down the old softtop - we saved the plastic enclosure since we won't get the enclosure that goes with the hardtop until we're back in Florida.

The hardtop was delivered on 4.7.2022 by a trucking company and crew - they were a huge help in getting all the parts loaded on the boat (see below slideshow). Included in the shipment was the hardtop, the fiberglass support stands, 3 temporary supports, and two 375-watt solar panels.

The hardtop installation is a process so I'll detail that in the next post :)

Later in the week, we connected with a fellow liveaboard cruiser Bob, who has a Lagoon 500 (bigger version of our boat) and is also from Arizona! We met Bob for dinner at a local restaurant near the marina, Bonita's Cantina, and had great time chatting about the cruising/boating/sailing lifestyle :)
